Cornwall is attending UKREiiF 2024 in May
Senior representatives from Cornwall Council, Cornwall Trade and Investment and Treveth will be attending the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) this month to showcase a range of once in a generation investment opportunities, that will create sustainable communities, enhance key sectors and drive economic growth in the region.
What is UKREiiF?
Taking place between 21-23 May 2024 in Leeds City Centre, and now in its third year, the UKREiiF Conference connects people working within the UK Real Estate industry, with more than 10,000 attendees expected and 700 speakers over the course of the three days.
Why are we there?
During the Conference, the team will be showcasing Cornwall’s capital development programme equating to over £10bn over the next ten years , including eight major capital project opportunities.
Key development opportunities include; a Supported Housing Delivery project, to deliver 19500 specialist units by 2033 and valued at circa. £82m over 5 years; a circa. £300m Cornwall Airport & Estate development opportunity, which is one of the UK’s largest designated Enterprise Zones; and a circa. £300m project to bring forward the pioneering development, Langarth Garden Village. Other significant projects are a new transport quarter in Newquay; commercial development opportunity at Goonhilly Earth Station; Pydar Street regeneration in Truro; development of Falmouth Docks, and an ambitious Local investment in Nature Cornwall (LINC) initiative.
There will also be key partners from private-led schemes, such as Cornish Lithium and Goonhilly Earth Station, on hand to discuss further investment opportunities in the region.

UKREiiF Public Sector Decarbonisation: Realising Opportunities and Overcoming Challenges Roundtable
Phil Mason, Strategic Director of Cornwall Council, will join industry professionals to discuss the opportunities presented around the ambitious decarbonisation agenda in the public sector, with the government having set a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from public buildings by 75% by 2037 as part of its £30bn net zero strategy.

Housing & Regeneration – Delivery Solutions

EcoBID’s Workshop – Exploring a New Business Improvement District Model?
