Planning approval received for commercial scheme at Normandy Way, Bodmin
Back in February, we announced that Treveth had submitted a planning application for a commercial scheme at Normandy Way, Bodmin. Well, we’re now pleased to reveal that we have received planning approval.
The 916 sqm scheme consists of eight industrial units with floor areas ranging from 86 sqm to 165 sqm. Located close to the commuter routes of the A30 and the A38, each unit is 5.5m high so tenants will have the opportunity to benefit from mezzanine floors if they wish.
Other features include:
- 4m high powered roller shutter vehicle access doors
- Additional windows for future fit-out needs
- Fully insulated cladding panels to walls and roofs
- Structural floor designed for 15knm2 loading
- Dedicated parking spaces for each unit
- Easy access to local amenities including food and drink outlets
Construction will start soon with an aim to have these units ready for occupation from spring 2024. The units will be offered for rent on competitive terms with some being offered for open market sale.
Robert Churchill, Senior Commercial Property Manager at Treveth, commented: “These new units at Normandy Way will be a great addition to the existing Treveth commercial portfolio. The units will bring a brownfield site that has been sitting unused for many years back into commercial use and deliver high spec, quality small commercial units in an area which is seeing a high demand for these types of units.”
We welcome early enquiries in the Normandy Way scheme. Please contact either Robert Churchill at Treveth or the agents for the scheme, Vickery Holman.
