Treveth announced as headline sponsor for Planet C Conference
With climate change right at the top of Cornwall’s agenda, Treveth is delighted to be the headline sponsor for this year’s Planet C Future of the Built Environment Day. Now in its second year, and hosted by Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, Planet C aims to drive and empower local businesses in Cornwall to take action in the climate crisis.
The event takes place on 22nd November and we are pleased to have set the agenda for the event in collaboration with conference sponsor, Ward Williams Associates. The day will be filled with a packed programme of insightful panel discussions and inspiring presentations from many of the region’s business leaders, making a real difference in the sustainability space..
The built environment accounts for about 40 per cent of the UK’s total carbon footprint, so design, construction and the way homes and buildings are used has a huge role to play in tackling the climate emergency.
As a Cornish company with sustainability at our core, we’re proud to be taking a lead in the sector and employing an innovative approach to designing out carbon from our developments. Treveth’s Managing Director Tim Mulholland, Head of Design, Decarbonisation & Environment, Greg Slater, Senior Estates and After Care Manager, Ben Dobson and Decarbonisation & Environment Manager, Catherine Pinney will be presenting during the day and sharing our ambitious road map to achieving carbon neutrality for Treveth by 2030.
