Show home now open at Treveth’s low carbon site, Gwel Basset, Tolgus
Cornish developer Treveth has opened the doors to its show home at Gwel Basset, Tolgus, which is set to be a market leading low carbon estate housing scheme.
House hunters interested in an open market home at Gwel Basset, located in the Tolgus area of Redruth, are invited to make an appointment with Bradleys Estate Agents to view the three bedroom show home. This will give visitors to the much-anticipated site a chance to visualise what the energy-efficient homes at Gwel Basset will ultimately look like.
Located opposite Redruth School, Gwel Basset is Treveth’s first scheme the Cornish developer is building under its own design and sustainability manual which sets new standards for quality, design, and low carbon development in Cornwall.
Gwel Basset will ultimately deliver 185 new homes with a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom homes available to those who live, work in or have family connections in the immediate vicinity of the site. There will be 90 homes for private rent, 22 for open market sale, 61 affordable rent and 12 shared ownership properties.
Bradleys Estate Agents are currently accepting appointments for house hunters interested in open market homes only with viewings for shared ownership and rental homes being taken by Treveth at a later date.
At the appointment, visitors will be able to find out more about the open market properties that are ready to reserve and wander around the three bedroom Lamorna show home.
This house style demonstrates open plan living at its finest. Step inside and discover the open plan kitchen, living, and dining area on the ground floor. French doors leading out onto the rear garden flood this room with natural light, allowing house hunters to easily picture this space as the heart of the home. Visitors will also find a handy cloakroom on the ground floor before heading upstairs where three spacious bedrooms await. Bedrooms one and two are both double bedrooms with wardrobes and bedroom one also features an en-suite shower room. The family bathroom and a storage cupboard can also be found on the first floor.
Dulcie Paleschi, Head of Residential Portfolio Management at Treveth, commented: “We’re delighted to announce that the doors to our show home at Gwel Basset, Tolgus, are now open to those interested in the open market homes. We hope visitors enjoy looking around the show home which has been built to Treveth’s high-quality, low emission standard. The Lamorna house style is a perfect example of our three bedroom homes. House hunters can enjoy looking around its open plan ground floor, peaceful bedrooms and outside space whilst imagining what their life could look like at Gwel Basset.”
Lynsey Carroll, New Home Sales and Marketing Manager at Treveth, added: “To manage the footfall through the show home, appointments are currently only available to those who are interested in the open market homes at Gwel Basset as these homes will be ready for occupation ahead of the shared ownership and rental properties. We will announce when appointments can be taken in regards to the shared ownership and rental homes at a later date.
“I’d encourage open market house hunters to come along and see our new show home as it will give you a real feel for the homes we build. Please remember to book an appointment through Bradley’s Estate Agents before you visit. Gwel Basset is a live construction site so unfortunately, you will be turned away if you arrive without an appointment booked. We look forward to meeting you!”
Countryside Partnerships (formerly Vistry Partnerships) is working in partnership with Treveth to deliver these new build homes to Cornish people.
The three bedroom Lamorna house style at Gwel Basset starts from £290,000.
